I would appreciate any advice on the following:
I am attempting to create a "flying CD" in Lightwave
3D, but I'm having some difficulty creating the radial
chromatic rainbow effect that you see when you
handle a CD.
I've tried reflecting ranges of color off the CD object
but can't seem to get a realistic effect.
In the end I want the CD spinning slowly around a horizontal axis
with radial patterns of color reflecting from its surface.
Is there a way of doing this using lighting effects or is
there another method I should consider?
Thanks.
